Truvia Creamy Tomato Soup

Why not try our favourite winter warmer? This delicious creamy tomato soup is made with Truvia, calorie-free sweetness from the stevia leaf.

  • 800g tomatoes, halved and quartered

  • 100g tomato paste

  • 400ml water

  • 1.5 tablespoon Truvia

  • 1 teaspoon garlic

  • 150g low fat Crème fraiche

  • 12 teaspoon salt

  • 12 teaspoon pepper

  • 2 tablespoon fresh basil


  • 1.

    In a large pan add tomatoes, garlic, Truvia, salt, pepper, tomato paste and water. Bring to the boil.

    Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 40 minutes

  • 3.

    Remove from heat and cool slightly, carefully use a hand blender or blender to make smooth.

  • 4.

    Stir in the crème fraiche.

  • 5.

    Mix well, return to the heat to warm and serve, adjust for seasoning if needed, scatter with fresh basil.
