Pecan Pie with Truvia® sweetener

Try this recipe for a classic pecan pie! This unique recipe uses Truvía® calorie-free sweetener made from the leaves of the stevia plant.

  • 90g Maple Syrup

  • 30g Truvia

  • 25g Porridge Oats

  • 30g Unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 medium eggs

  • 50g Pecan nuts

  • 12 tsp Vanilla extract


  • 1.

    Preheat the oven to 180C / 160c fan / gas mark 4.

  • 2.

    In a medium mixing bowl, combine maple syrup, Truvia, oats, melted butter, beaten eggs, pecans, vanilla extract and black treacle (if using)

  • 3.

    Pour into a prepared unbaked pastry case.

    Optional – Cut out leaves with a stamp from pastry and place onto uncooked pecan pie. Glaze pastry with milk before placing in the oven.

    Bake for 25 minutes until set.

    Allow pie to rest on a cooling rack for an hour before slicing.
