Fresh Strawberry Chia Jam

If you're looking for a reduced-calorie alternative to Strawberry Jam then we've got it! Strawberry Chia jam only uses three ingredients- fresh strawberries, chia seeds and Truvia. Chia seeds give it that soft spreadable texture whilst the strawberries and Truvia make it naturally sweet. Try on top of toast or porridge for breakfast, on your smoothie bowl or on top of a dessert or ice cream to indulge innocently. This versatile creation can be kept for the week, adding to your fruit intake.

Serving size





  • 454g Ripe Strawberries, washed, hulled and quartered.

  • 1 Tbsp Truvia

  • 2 Tbsp Chia Seeds

    Add the prepared strawberries to a saucepan, add the Truvia and start to heat over a medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture begins to bubble. Reduce the heat and continue to stir for a further 3-5 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly. Add the chia seeds and heat for a further 2 minute.

    Remove from the heat and use a potato masher to further mash any large pieces of strawberries until the desired texture is achieved. Leave to cool before storing in an airtight container and chilling for up to 1 week.
