Apple Berry Gallette

This rustic version of Fruits of the Forest pie is sweetened with the goodness of Truvía® Calorie-Free Sweetener and has 60% less sugar and contains 25% fewer calories than a full sugar gallette.

  • 270g apples, peeled

  • 1 tsp fresh lemon zest

  • 1 Tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice

  • 150g fresh strawberries, sliced

  • 150g blueberries, fresh or frozen

  • 150g blackberries, fresh or frozen

  • 14 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp cinnamon, ground

  • 2 Tbsp corn flour

  • 54g Truvía® Calorie-Free Sweetener

  • 1 pie crust

  • 25g butter


  • 1.

    Assemble all ingredients; preheat oven to 218°C.

  • 2.

    Peel and thinly slice apples; place in bowl, top with lemon zest and juice; set aside.

  • 3.

    In large mixing bowl, place strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, salt, cinnamon, corn flour and Truvía® calorie-free sweetener; blend together; set aside.

  • 4.

    Place pie crust dough on lightly floured surface; roll out; transfer to parchment-lined sheet pan.

  • 5.

    Gently combine apple and berry mixtures.

  • 6.

    Place fruit mixture into center of pie crust; leaving 112 border around edge of crust; place butter pats on fruit filling.

  • 7.

    Flip up crust edge towards middle, pleating as you fold up.

  • 8.

    Bake in 218°C oven for 50-55 minutes; rotate 180° half way through baking.

    Cool on wire rack; serve warm or at room temperature.
